Details of a Recent RAID Recovery
Using our super rush service a client sent us an IBM server that Included a 10 disk SCSI RAID 5 array. At first only one of the drives in the RAID had stopped spinning. Our client inserted a new disk after which the RAID began to rebuild, but surprisingly crashed after a short period of time resulting in four of the disks failing. After all disks were sent to us, we created images of the good disks, repaired the ones that had failed, created images and installed the images into one of our RAID workstations where we were able to restore the critical data within twenty four hours.
