You will be contacted when the media is in our possession. After which you are kept up to date by phone and/or email on the status of the recovery process.

[ 3 ] Evaluation
First, we must determine whether the problem is physical (hardware), logical (data structure) or combination of both. We continue the process by providing an approximate time estimate and final cost of recovery. A Terms of Service agreement will then be sent to you for approval, outlining the details of the diagnostic and the steps required for recovery. Once page two of the agreement has been signed and faxed back to us, the recovery work will begin. We complete all evaluations within twenty-four hours; though we try to complete it within the same day we receive the drive.

[ 4 ] Imaging Process
Our process includes getting your hard drive into a state where we can safely extract the data to a safe location on our servers, and assemble the data into a readable form.
How do we do that?
Using our specialized proprietary cloning machine, we create a bit for bit duplicate of your hard drive. This duplicate is an exact replica of your drive and may include areas that may have surface damage. The rest of the recovery work is then performed using the duplicate, to help preserve the integrity of your drive.

[ 5 ] Data Security, Recovery Tools, and Equipment
We keep a copy of your recovered data for a thirty-day period, after which will be destroyed. Recovery workstations and data storage servers have no Internet connections. All precautions are taken to preserve the privacy and protection of your information. We have many tools, some of which we have created ourselves. All equipment is up to date, to handle all of the latest changes in the hard drive industry. Even though we've been around for five years, our technology, and processes have been in the making for over a decade.

[ 6 ] Data Delivery
We are happy to announce that with every hard drive recovery, we offer for free, a 250GB Western Digital external USB kit. In the case of Floppy Disks, Smart Media, USB key, and other, recovered data will be returned to you on CD-ROM or DVD at no extra charge.
